Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. 

It's been a busy couple of weeks packing decks and books, but I'm really happy to share that (almost) everyone's order has been sent. A big thank you to my mother-in-law, Heike, for helping me complete this epic task. 

Also, I'd like to give a heartfelt thank you to every one of you for helping me bring this project to life. I literally couldn't have done this without your support and I wish I could meet every one of you to thank you in-person. I poured so much of myself into this project and I really hope that you enjoy this deck and book. 

Every package I sent includes a tracking number. You can find your tracking number by going to the Order Confirmation page on your BackerKit survey and looking under 'Special Notes'. (See below.)

Each order was packaged with care, but please let me know if there is any issue when you receive it so that I can do my best to correct it. In addition to being tracked, each order is also insured.

A pallet of oracle decks was delivered to my home this afternoon. :)

Survey Reminder (The decks are almost here!)

Hello everyone,

I received an update from the printers that the decks have made it safely across the Pacific Ocean.  They are currently in Seattle, WA - or about a 7 hour drive from where I live - so the shipment should arrive at my doorstep sometime this week. Hooray!

Once the shipment arrives,  I will be dedicating my days towards packing each one of your orders until they are all sent out. It's gonna be a lot of work, but I'm really looking forward to it. I just cleared out my office to make room and I have all the boxes and packing materials ready to go. 

Most of you have already completed the shipping surveys I sent out earlier. I thank you for that. I will be charging cards on October 25th. If you haven't had the chance to complete your survey, please do as soon as you're able to. I cannot ship your order until you've done so. 

I hope you're having (or had) a nice weekend. I anticipate the next update I'll make will be to let you know that your orders are being shipped out. :)

BackerKit Surveys are Coming

Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well. 

The BackerKit team reviewed my survey and they gave me the go ahead to begin sending them out. As a precaution, BackerKit will initially send out surveys to only 5% of backers. This "smoke test" allows any potential errors to be caught and addressed before surveys are sent to all backers. So if you don't receive your survey immediately, know that it is on its way. 

Notes

Shipping

To ensure that your order will arrive safely, all the packages I send will be tracked. 

Although tracking is a bit more expensive (particularly for packages I send to addresses outside of North America) this is the only way I can guarantee that you will receive your order.  If an untracked package I send overseas goes missing, it is very costly for me to resend the order. I'm not Amazon. I'm just one guy working with a limited budget. 

In the unlikely event that you were overcharged for shipping, I will refund you the difference. 

Add-Ons

Through the BackerKit survey, you'll be able to purchase additional items. These add-ons include extra copies of the Sylvankind Oracle, guidebooks, prints, original pencil illustrations, and my previous deck - the WilderWoven Tarot. Please note that adding additional items to your order will increase the weight of the package and this may result in a higher shipping fee. 

Print Reward Tier and Print Add-Ons

If your pledge includes a print, you'll be ask to specify which one (or more) you would like. There are 64 options and to see these prints (and their names) in greater detail, please visit this page on my website:

Stretch Goal Items

All orders will include the stretch goal items that were unlocked during the campaign. These include two stickers, two postcards, and a bookmark.

 Some information from BackerKit:  

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://sylvankind-oracle.backerkit.com

October Update

Hey everyone,  I hope you're enjoying the changing of the seasons as much as I am. Fall is by far my favorite season and the colorful leaves outside my home are really inspiring me to paint. 

I have some new information to share since my last update...

Project Status

The good news is that the decks are well underway their voyage across the Pacific Ocean.  They departed on September 8th and the journey usually takes around 6 weeks. Unfortunately there is no tracking information available as they make their way across the ocean, so I don't know precisely how much time is left. If there are no delays, they should be at my doorstep in the next couple of weeks. 

Surveys

Over the past few days I've been working on the BackerKit surveys that I aim to send out early next week. I'm just waiting from the BackerKit team for confirmation that everything looks good before I send them out. 

Lastly, I know the decks will be getting to you later than the anticipated September arrival date. I just wanted to acknowledge that and thank you for your patience. I'm hopeful that the deck and guidebook will be worth the wait.
